Reporting Outages
1. CHECK YOUR FACILITIES FIRST - Check your fuses and
circuit breakers to see if one has blown or tripped. If power is metered at a pole, check the
lead-in from the pole.
2. CHECK YOUR NEIGHBORS - Try to learn from nearby neighbors
if their power is off also.
3. CALL YOUR CO-OP - If the trouble is not in your home
or other facilities, and after trying to learn your neighbors situation, Call Pitt & Green
EMC Power Outage & Emergency Number.

SCHEDULED OUTAGES
The maintenance and operation of the electric system
may require scheduled outages on parts of the system. These outages, when possible, will
be scheduled at a time that will cause the least inconvenience to the members, with regard
to reasonable working hours. The members to be affected by scheduled outages will be notified
in advance, if practical.
