BANK DRAFTS
Your co-op can notify your bank of the amount of your electric bill. Payment is made from the members bank account directly to the co-op. A bill is still sent to the member to show how much electricity was used and the total amount of the bill.
BUDGET BILLING
This payment allows a member to pay the same amount each month by averaging their bill over the last 12 months. This will bring the highest bills down and the lowest bills up so a member still pays for the exact amount of electricity used.
CUSTOMER CHOICE
This is a pay as you go program and an alternative to traditional monthly billing that allows participatns to determine how much and how often they pay for killowat usage.
MARKETING PROGRAMS
From time to time, the cooperative offers special marketing programs for members. These programs have included water heater rebates, heat pump rebates and rebates on security lights. Inquire with the cooperative for specific programs in effect.
MONEYGRAM
Visit WalMart or CVS to make payment using moneygram.
NIGHT DEPOSIT
A night deposit box is located at the headquarters office in Farmville, NC and the branch office in Snow Hill, NC. Payments may be made in these boxes after office hours, weekends and holidays.
PAYMENT BY TELEPHONE
Pitt & Greene EMC will accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express and e-checks for payment of electric bill's.
SPEAKERS BUREAU
Pitt & Greene EMC representatives are available to schools, civic groups, and other organizations to present programs on a variety of subjects.
WATER HEATERS
Energy efficient hydrostone VAUGHN water heaters are available for purchase from the Co-op. Members can receive up to a $100 rebate for installation cost.
